Formerly of the folk band, Beady, her influences include Appalachian folk music, Mary Oliver, Joe Piano, early morning bird song, Mitch Hedberg, and Karen Dalton. Come say howdy!

Magickal Creatures are a singer/songwriter duo comprised of Sarah Schrift on vocals and guitar and Tony Steele on bass and synth. Together Schrift and Steele have a soulful, sweet, sometimes melancholic, all-American sound. Schrift has two previous albums, The Sours, and Ice Cream for Astronauts. She is currently working on her third album with Tony Steele. Tony Steele is a well-known Broadway musician who has played on the Riverdance show and Little Shop of Horrors. He has toured internationally with Moya Brennan of the legendary Irish band, Clannad. Steele plays traditional Irish music in the NY area and all over the US.
