11AM Wind in the Pines:
Vocalists and string, guitar and mandolin players at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music have joined forces to experience the historic American music of bluegrass. Taught by expert bluegrass musicians, in a fun jam-style approach, students experience the joys of leading, improvising and accompanying traditional folk songs and old-time music.

11:30AM J.M. Clifford:
J.M. Clifford is a songwriter and music educator from Brooklyn, NY. His music draws on folk, bluegrass and classic singer-songwriter styles from the 60s and 70s. Clifford’s debut record, On a Saturday Night, was featured on The Bluegrass Situation and received rave reviews from Bluegrass Today and Holler Country. He performed at the IBMA Songwriter Showcase in 2022 and has been selected as a finalist in the 2023 Rocky Mountain Songwriting Festival. Clifford works as a NYC elementary public school teacher in Brooklyn and leads a bluegrass ensemble at The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.

An acoustic duet, Cynthia and Kevin play and sing a wide range of music including Americana, Bluegrass, Flatpick Fiddle Tunes, and Dynamic Originals.

3:30PM Marcus Jade
Marcus Jade is a blues musician, songwriter, and poet. Born and raised in Indiana, his exposure to a wide variety of music has informed his diverse musical influences, wherein he discovered his own unique style of ragged, heart-wrenching blues. Since moving to New York City, he has developed a laser focus on his love for blues music. A renowned presence in the Brooklyn music scene, he has performed hundreds of live shows ranging from intimate living room performances to well-attended music festivals.
