Deborah Karpel, 1:30pm
Deborah is a singer and theater writer known to audiences of international songs, art song, klezmer, theater, opera and improvisational comedy. She began playing guitar in 2013 when a neighbor discarded a beautiful 1930's Kalamazoo arch-top guitar in her building’s recycling room which she promptly scooped up and brought to a gig with her band, The East Side Trio. Deborah teaches voice privately in NYC, works as a music therapist in the NYC area (thanks to that guitar) and performs her original solo show with music, “The Midwood Miracle”, at venues such as Pangea in NYC as well as forays into Philadelphia and Chicago this past year. Additionally, Deborah has enjoyed many musical performances at the Cowgirl Seahorse as a member of Ismail Butera's band, Velvet Jubilee. She is thrilled to be playing her first Porch Stomp!

Having just released her debut EP “Desert Girl” Naomi is a fresh face in folk music, and is honored to be part of the Cowgirl Seahorse Stage at the 6th annual Porch Stomp Festival! Naomi performs in countless venues around NYC, the east coast and the Southwest, and is anticipating the release of her music video for “Desert Girl” in July.

Fiddler & The Crossroads trio will take you from the crossroads of blues and cajun music to the musical traditions of Brazil, France, Ireland, Morrocco and more! Greg Holt is a recent Blues-Hall-of-Fame inductee and the official fiddler for the National Hockey League currently residing in the East Village, NYC. Felipe Hostins is a Brazilian accordion player currently residing in Pennsylvania. Roger Stoltz plays the unique suitcase drums (a twist on an old cajun tradition) and is from Chicago, currently living on the Upper West Side.
